He is a master student at Orleans University. This time, he came to practice judo at Tenri University for 3 weeks.
3 years ago, he was studying at Tenri University for 1 year and came to Daishin. Now, he is 1st dan in Japan and 3rd dan in France.

Three people are the Avegerinos MAISTRECLIS, Theoklitos PAPACHRISTOS and Dimitrios PITSIOS from Iraklis Judo Club in Greece came to Daishin Judo Club for Judo practice from May. 30th till June 9th, 2008.
Avegerinos visited Osaka with Greek Judo team in 2007, so this is his second time to Japan.

New Zealand Judokwai was founded as Auckland Judo Club in 1948. Akihiro Matsuura was certified as a lifetime honorary member in December 26th, 1986.
Daishin Judo Club and New Zealand Judokwai became Sister’s Club in March, 1989.

On the May 4th, Akihiro Matsuura gave medals to the winners as a presenter at the 2008 Auckland INTERNATIONAL OPEN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS which was held at ASB stadium in Auckland, NZ. (Photos)

[Men’s team competition] 1st Adam Hoyt (white belt) 2nd Naoto Yasuki (1st dan) 3rd Kenzo Ito (1st dan) 4th Yutaka Moriyama (2nd dan) 5th Yukio Asano (2nd dan) We won against Sumiyoshi shogyo high school (4-0) in the first round, and lost to Kinki uni high school (0-4) in the second round. Kinki uni high school won the first prize. [Women’s team competition] 1st Sabrina Lin (white belt) 2nd Soo Incyong (white belt) 3rd Shiho Hayashi (2nd dan) We won against Shobukan (2-1) in the first round, and lost to Jyuugoukan (1-2) in the second round. As a result, we won the 3rd prize.(photo) Jyuugoukai won the first prize.
Sep. 22	Osaka East district Judo Tournament was held at the Kodokan Osaka, and many Daishin members participated. Kaito Okumura won the third prize in the 5th grade elementary school category (photo), and Shiho Hayashi won the second prize in the women’s category. [Men’s team competition] 1st Yudai Tanaka (1st dan) 2nd Naoki Yabuuchi (1st dan) 3rd Yonsu Kim (1st dan) 4th Ryan Baer (1st dan) 5th Sutton Nathanial (1st dan) We got a first-round bye, and we lost to Uenomiya high school (4-0) in the semifinals. Uenomiya high school won the first prize.

Aug. 26	The 57th Osaka Jyusei Judo Team Championship Tournament was held at Osaka Jyusei Hall. Daishin Judo Team (1st prize last year) beated Osaka Kochisho(3-1) and beated Kami Dojo (4-0), but we were defeated by West Japan Judo Seifuku School (1-3) on the final match. Mar. 19	We received a report from Alwyn Grabbelaar in Little Dragon Judo Club in South Africa (our sister dojo). The Commonwealth Games was held in Wales in January. South Africa team players won 51 medals in total from the Juniors to the masters, they received 3 Gold, 11 Silver, and the rest Bronze. They entered the biggest team of all the countries there.
